Be your own man - or not

My youngest son's birthday is coming up this week and he is thinking he might like some clothes. In his opinion I am old and know nothing about what looks cool. This is possibly true. I was looking at a Target ad today and saw some shirts that I thought looked nice. I asked him if he liked these shirts. He didn't even look toward the paper. He just said, "Let me ask Janaya (his sister)." "Janaya, do I like those shirts?" Janaya looked at the ad and said, "No!" "Nope, I don't like those shirts." I guess I know who I'm going to have do the birthday clothes shopping. I wonder if I have to give her money?
