Back to School Blessings

One of my favorite family traditions is when my husband gives our kids each a father's blessing the Sunday before school starts. It has always made me feel that my children are going off to school with a shield of protection around them and we all know that in today's world they need one. Tonight the hubby gave the two sons wonderful blessings. The youngest is beginning his Junior year of high school. It is hard to believe he is getting so old. The oldest is returning to his position as an Instructional Assistant at a nearby elementary school, so even though technically he is not "going to school" he kind of is. I love my husband and I am glad that he can bless each of our sons as they begin a new phase of their lives. Thanks sweetheart!
